Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz has approved a series of landmark actions aimed at providing legal security, upgrading infrastructure, and expanding services for residents.

The approvals came during the latest Ordinary Council Session, where the mayor emphasized her administration’s focus on delivering on key campaign promises, such as creating dignified and safe spaces, bringing services directly to neighborhoods, and completing projects that citizens have long asked for.

A key agreement was the acceptance of a land donation exceeding 13,000 square meters in Primo Tapia, granted by local communal landowners (ejidatarios). This land will be used to build a new Municipal Delegation, bringing vital public services closer to and strengthening support for the southern communities of the municipality.

“This delegation matter was a commitment we made from the start. Today we take firm steps to serve communities that felt forgotten in past administrations. Ejidatarios are strategic allies in guaranteeing the well-being of the people of Rosarito,” the mayor said.

Mayor Rocío Adame also provided a progress report on the construction of a new health clinic in Primo Tapia, a project designed to significantly improve medical services for the area.

The council also approved the regularization of irregular settlements across 52 local neighborhoods. This program, coordinated with state and federal housing institutes (INDIVI and INSUS), will grant legal property titles to hundreds of families.

“We now have the official list of 52 neighborhoods slated for regularization. After years of public demand, we are moving forward with INDIVI and INSUS to ensure this process is done correctly and with full transparency,” the mayor stated.

Lastly, a federal budget injection of up to 85 million pesos was authorized to complete long-awaited infrastructure projects such as the Central Kitchen Community Center and remodeling IMAC, both identified as priorities for the current administration in coordination with SEDATU.

With these actions, Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz reaffirms her commitment to making history in Playas de Rosarito, pledging to deliver well-being, development and social justice for all its residents.
