Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito conducted a supervisory visit on Monday to inspect progress on the rehabilitation of a major sinkhole along Hisense Boulevard, a key road in the city’s mobility network.
Accompanied by Nora Márquez, Director of PRODEUR, along with technical staff and project supervisors, the mayor verified that construction is proceeding on schedule and that materials meet required quality standards. According to officials, the project currently stands at 45% completion.

The mayor emphasized her administration’s commitment to addressing urban infrastructure issues promptly and with public safety as a top priority.
“We are ensuring that every stage of this process uses the right materials and meets the necessary quality standards. Our goal is a functional, long-lasting solution that prevents future problems in this area. With 45% of the work already complete, we are on track to deliver as promised,” she said.

The sinkhole repair project is expected to restore safe and efficient traffic flow once finished, reducing risks and strengthening the city’s road infrastructure.
