Rosarito Mayor Rocío Adame Distributes Christmas Dinners to Families in Need

As part of its holiday outreach, the Rosarito city government delivered Christmas dinners to residents across several vulnerable neighborhoods.

Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz’s administration delivered special Christmas dinners to thousands of residents across Rosarito’s most vulnerable communities this week. The initiative, organized through the Department of Well-Being and the Municipal DIF aimed to provide direct support during the holiday season.

This initiative supported Rosarito families during the December holiday season by strengthening community bonds and delivering aid directly to those who need it most.

Support for Priority Groups

The Rosarito City Hall distribution event focused on serving the following community members:

  • People with disabilities
  • Patients from the psychology department
  • Single mothers
  • Senior citizens
  • Users of rehabilitation centers
  • Children and teenagers
  • Individuals in group homes
  • Vulnerable families

Dinners were distributed in dozens of neighborhoods communities across the municipality, including:

Colinas del Sol; Ampliación Benito Juárez; Colonia Morelos; La Mina; Real de Rosarito; Coral de Rosarito; Santa María de Guadalupe; Jesús Amigo; Los Arroyos; Lienzo Charro; Constitución; Constitución 3ra Sección; Plan Libertador; Primo Tapia; Centro Comunitario Tonatzin; Comunidad Indígena de Rosarito; Agua Marina; Volcanes; Volcanes II; Aguamarina I, II and III; Puesta del Sol I and II; Fraccionamiento Puesta del Sol; Misión del Mar I and II; Praderas; Vistas del Mar; Caracoles; Lomas Altas; La Capilla; Real del Sol; Mar de Cortés; Sagrada Familia; Rancho Grande; Catalina del Mar; Santa Teresita; Santa Anita del Mar; Rancho El Toro; Santa Anita; Ladrillera; Venustiano Carranza; Villa Bonita; Los Ramos; Cumbres de Rosarito; San Miguel; Huacatay, and Siboney.

Christmas dinners were also delivered at the following rehabilitation centers:

  • Centro de Rehabilitación Vivir con Propósito
  • Centro de Rehabilitación Charys
  • Centro de Rehabilitación CRREAD
  • Centro de Rehabilitación El Mezon

The Municipal DIF also distributed Christmas dinners in its main facilities and across several social spaces in the community. The initiative benefited multiple groups, including:

  • Families of children and youth belonging to the Juvenile Police.
  • Members of the local Boys and Girls Club.
  • Residents of the Horizonte Group Home.
  • Senior citizen groups, such as Corazones Felices and Aprendiendo a Vivir.

Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz emphasized that her administration is committed to a sensitive and attentive social policy, focused on supporting those most in need.

“In these times, we reaffirm our commitment to leave no one behind, to stand alongside our families, and to always place people’s dignity and well-being at the center of our work,” she stated.
