Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz inaugurated a new hydraulic concrete paving project in the Circuito Colinas area on Tuesday, fulfilling a decades-old promise to the Ampliación Mazatlán community and underscoring her administration’s firm commitment to strengthening urban development and ensuring safe mobility for Rosarito residents.

A 5-million-peso ($290,000 USD) infrastructure project is paving Olivo, Naranjo, and Carlos Lane streets in Rosarito, improving safety and reliability for local residents. City officials said the upgrades will directly benefit about 450 residents and 30 families.
The project is part of the local government’s ongoing road improvement program, carried out in coordination with PRODEUR, aimed at strengthening neighborhood connectivity and improving quality of life across Rosarito.

“I am very glad to be here today. Paving is essential for the well-being of our communities, and good neighborhood organization makes carrying out these projects much easier. We will continue to evaluate the area to proceed with more projects that benefit this community and surrounding neighborhoods,” the mayor said.
Local residents of the Ampliación Mazatlán neighborhood expressed relief and gratitude at the long-awaited improvement during the event. “Finally, our voices are being heard,” they remarked.

In addition to mobility benefits, the new pavement represents a crucial preventive measure ahead of the upcoming rainy season, reducing flooding risks and improving emergency access.

The Circuito Colinas project signals the administration’s continued commitment to urban development and responsive governance, with Mayor Rocío Adame pledging further infrastructure assessments in the area to identify future community improvement opportunities.
