Mayor Rocío Adame of Rosarito held a working meeting with representatives from Infonavit and the Department of Agrarian, Territorial, and Urban Development (SEDATU) to follow up on the “Housing for Well-Being” program, which includes the construction of 8,000 homes in the municipality under the oversight of Rosarito City Hall.
Joining virtually were Víctor Jacob Mendoza Castillo, Deputy Regional Director for Infonavit’s Northwest Zone; Gabriela Montes Neri, Infonavit Housing Liaison; Silvia Salas, Regional Coordinator for SEDATU; and Raúl Anaya, Project Manager at SEDATU.
Attending in person were Enrique Cunningham, SEDATU Delegate for Baja California; Ana Lizeth Gómez, representative of Infonavit’s State Delegation; and Cosme Frías, Technical Manager at Infonavit. All reaffirmed their commitment to working in close coordination with the municipality.
Mayor Adame emphasized that this joint effort aligns with President Claudia Sheinbaum’s six-year plan to guarantee the right to adequate housing. In Rosarito, she said, the program represents a decisive step toward improving the well-being of thousands of families by ensuring access to safe, affordable homes with full basic services.
“In Rosarito, we are going to deliver for the people. With these actions, we are building not just houses, but also opportunities for development and better living conditions for our community,” the mayor said.
