The Playas de Rosarito City Hall is making progress on a major federal housing program aimed at providing more affordable homes for Baja California families. Led by Mayor Rocío Adame, a high-level interagency meeting took place to coordinate the rollout of the National Housing for Well-Being Program in the state.

The session brought together Luis Moreno Hernández, Deputy Secretary for the Metropolitan Zone, and Raúl Anaya, a representative from SEDATU where they met with Mayor Rocío Adame and Mayor Román Cota to assess current progress, share data, and streamline collaboration between federal, state, and local authorities.

A central focus of the discussions was the need for unified action across all levels of government to create the conditions necessary to increase access to safe, adequate, and dignified housing for residents.

Mayor Rocío Adame reiterated that her administration is committed to working closely with federal and state authorities to advance public policies that promote social well-being and support the orderly, sustainable growth of the municipality.
The meeting signals the Rosarito City Hall’s ongoing commitment to engage in regional strategies that align with the national program’s objectives.
