Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz of Rosarito reinforced her administration’s commitment to education and youth development this week by distributing new sports equipment to elementary schools throughout the city. The donation is part of a broader effort to promote physical activity, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among local children.
The initiative is being carried out in collaboration with the Mexican Soccer Federation (FMF), the Ministry of Education, and local school communities.

A total of 17 primary schools and the Morning Multiple Care Center received sports kits and soccer balls aimed at increasing participation in organized sports and fostering values such as discipline, cooperation, and community spirit.

“Sports bring children together as it gives them a chance to socialize, build friendships, and share experiences. It’s an essential part of education, not only for health but for building character and shaping responsible citizens,” the mayor said during the event.

With the distribution of 340 soccer balls included in 18 sports kits, the Playas de Rosarito government reinforces its commitment to children, allowing them to pursue their dreams and aspirations through sports.
