The government of Playas de Rosarito has stepped up safety and prevention efforts along the municipality’s beaches, aiming to protect visitors during the current season.

The administration led by Mayor Rocío Adame Muñoz reported that these operations are being carried out through the Secretariat of Citizen Security, in coordination with the Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters.

Authorities are maintaining a constant presence along the coastline, reinforcing surveillance and promoting preventive measures to avoid accidents and provide greater peace of mind for both residents and tourists.

In response to the large crowds gathering at the beach, the Aquatic Rescue Division has deployed personnel strategically across the area. Lifeguards are conducting ongoing patrols, offering timely assistance to swimmers, and sharing safety recommendations to ensure that everyone can enjoy the sea safely.

Officials stress that protecting human life is the top priority. To that end, they are maintaining constant surveillance, responding immediately to any risky situations, and working to strengthen a culture of prevention.

Meanwhile, Municipal Police officers are maintaining an active presence across the entire municipality, with a focus on beaches, sandy areas, and other tourist hotspots, to ensure the public’s safety and well-being.
