The Playas de Rosarito City Hall led by Mayor Rocío Adame has carried out extensive cleaning, monitoring, and maintenance operations across the municipality’s beaches.

As part of ongoing efforts to ensure a pleasant experience for residents and tourists during the summer vacation season, the city conducted targeted cleanup and waste removal initiatives through the ZOFEMAT fund.

The ZOFEMAT fund consists of four key programs: Administrative Coordination, Conservation and Cleaning, Surveillance, and Census, all focused on maintaining beaches in optimal condition. Playas de Rosarito’s Federal Maritime-Terrestrial Zone spans 45 kilometers of coastline, which cleanup crews patrol daily to ensure it remains free of debris.
