Playas de Rosarito will be the stage for Baja Beach Fest 2025 this weekend, one of Baja California’s most significant music events, expected to draw thousands of visitors. For this reason, local authorities are encouraging residents to plan their travel in advance.
The festival will take place from Friday, August 8, through Sunday, August 10, but starting Thursday, August 7, a partial closure will be enforced on Bulevar Benito Juárez, from René Ortiz Street to Avenida La Palma.
Residents are advised to use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion. Available detours include Mar Mediterráneo and Mar del Norte streets, as well as the bridges at Colonia Magisterial and over at La Palma Street, which will help maintain smoother traffic flow around the area.
The use of ride-hailing platforms is recommended to facilitate safe, quick, and hassle-free transportation, especially for attendees and those traveling through the tourist zone.
The Public Safety and Traffic departments will deploy a special team on the ground to maintain traffic order and ensure the safety of both residents and visitors.
The Playas de Rosarito government thanks the community for understanding and reaffirms its commitment to providing a safe and orderly environment during this important tourist weekend.
