This Friday, August 28, Rosarito will become the stage of Baja California’s gastronomic scene as the city hosts two simultaneous celebrations that pay tribute to Mexican cuisine, cultural heritage, and the region’s burgeoning culinary talent.

The first of these is the 4th edition of the Chile en Nogada Tribute Dinner, to be held at Hacienda de Badú. The evening will be guided by traditional cook Josefina Sánchez, alongside chef José Esparza and will also feature a wine pairing curated by Mawi, mixology by Omar Suaste, and live musical performances from troubadour Agustín Sánchez. Set to begin at 7:00 p.m., tickets are priced at $750 pesos per person.

The celebration coincides with the 5th anniversary of Máxico Tesoro Nacional, a local restaurant that offers a special menu inspired by Mexico’s deep-rooted flavors and cultural expressions, accompanied by a selection of wines and artisanal spirits.

Both events share a common purpose: to elevate Rosarito’s reputation as a premier gastronomic destination.
