Over the weekend, a significant influx of visitors prompted the Aquatic Rescue Division to launch a special surveillance operation in Playas de Rosarito. During the operation, authorities assisted approximately 15,000 people, with a constant focus on ensuring the safety of both residents and tourists.
As part of the operation, lifeguards provided various pre-hospital services, helped locate individuals, and carried out around 500 preventive actions. Their efforts included regular beach patrols, monitoring from lookout towers, and timely responses to any potential risks.

These measures are part of a broader strategy promoted by Mayor Rocío Adame, who has repeatedly pledged to prioritize the safety and well-being of Rosarito’s residents and the many visitors drawn to this popular tourist destination.
The Municipal Government also urges the public to follow lifeguards’ instructions and pay attention to the beach flag warning system so as to prevent accidents and ensure a safe experience along the coastline.
With this operation, the 10th City Hall of Playas de Rosarito reaffirms its commitment to protecting the community, reinforcing prevention and surveillance efforts in response to the large crowds now gathering on the municipality’s beaches.
