With the support of Mayor Rocío Adame, the 2025 Powerade Half Marathon was a resounding success in Playas de Rosarito, underscoring the local government’s dedication to promoting sports, community wellness, and tourism.
Early in the morning, the mayor arrived at the iconic Rosarito Arch to officially kick off the race, joining more than 2,500 runners from across Mexico and abroad as they made their way along the city’s breathtaking coastline. The event embodied her belief that sports are not only vital for health, but also play a key role in shaping Rosarito’s identity, economy, and civic pride.
Thanks to the exceptional coordination of the Municipal Sports Institute (IMDER), under the leadership of Francisco X. Carrasco Beltrán, and the steadfast support of Mayor Adame, the event surpassed expectations. The day featured inclusive measures for people with disabilities, warm-up sessions, a 5K run, medical services, security, and traffic assistance—all part of a well-orchestrated effort by City Hall.
