San Felipe is proud to once again host one of its most beloved traditions: the annual Blues and Arts Fiesta. This year marks a milestone—the 20th anniversary of the festival, presented by El Dorado Ranch and the San Felipe Lions Club in memory of Diane Grubb.
The event, presented by the San Felipe Lions Club, traces its roots back to 2005, when Diane Grubb, alongside Rick Rudd and Heather Penrod, laid the foundation for what has become a cornerstone of San Felipe’s cultural and community life. Over the past two decades, the Fiesta has welcomed thousands of music and art lovers from across the globe, while remaining a favorite gathering for locals eager to celebrate and give back.
More than a festival, the Blues and Arts Fiesta is a powerful force for good. Every dollar raised is reinvested directly into the community, supporting vital organizations and initiatives such as:
- Sonshine Hacienda Orphanage
- San Felipe Fire Department
- Volunteers Without Limits
- DIF programs
- San Felipe Seniors
- International Hospital of San Felipe
- Local schools
- Better Together cataract surgeries
- The San Felipe Lions Club vision program
“The Blues and Arts Fiesta is more than music—it’s a movement,” said organizers. “It’s a celebration of creativity, community, and compassion, and a reminder that when we come together, we make a difference.”
As San Felipe prepares to mark this 20-year milestone, the community extends an open invitation to music lovers, art enthusiasts, and supporters everywhere: join us in celebrating, honoring our founders, and continuing the spirit of giving that defines this festival.
