The arrival of the second winter storm brought several meteorological conditions to the Baja Californian region, such as heavy rain since Sunday morning in the municipalities of Tijuana, Rosarito, and Tecate.
In addition, at Sierra de San Pedro Mártir, the second snowfall came and covered trees, land, vehicles, and houses with a beautiful but cold snow layer. Photographs of this were shared on the National Park’s social media pages.

Though it is a beautiful view and many wish to visit it, these conditions also make traveling on the highway difficult as it makes asphalt slippery, which is the main cause of vehicular accidents. In addition, there are vehicles who are unable to run in snow, which immobilizes them and then requires help from authorities. Due to this, the park revealed that it will remain closed indefinitely.
