Fun is back at Sesame Place San Diego! The theme park, which transitioned to a seasonal operating model in September 2025, is kicking off its most anticipated time of year with the return of Elmo’s Springtacular.
This limited-time celebration, running from March 27th through May 22nd, welcomes families to enjoy the vibrant spring season and Easter festivities. To mark the occasion, the park is currently offering tickets at a promotional price of $50 as part of a special Spring Break sale.

Spring Scavenger Hunt
Families can embark on a park-wide adventure to find hidden spring surprises. Treasure maps are available for free at Visitor Services, and those who complete the hunt can turn in their sheet for a prize.
Chalk Art
Little artists are invited to unleash their creativity and decorate the park’s walkways with complimentary chalk provided by Sesame Place.
Spring Storytime
Young readers can gather for a special story hour featuring Elmo himself. Following the reading, attendees will have the opportunity to pose for a photo with a beloved Sesame Street character.
Furry Friends Dance Party / Sesame Street Party Parade
Guests can dance the day away during an interactive party featuring their favorite Sesame Street characters. The celebration continues with the Sesame Street Party Parade, where families can wave to iconic characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Rosita, Grover, Bert, and Ernie.
Character Dining
On select days, families can elevate their visit with a delicious dinner and create lasting memories by meeting Sesame Street friends in an intimate setting.
