Colombian singer Sharkira just announced her pregnancy through her official website and Facebook account after weeks of speculation.
"As many of you know, Gerard and I are very happy waiting for our first baby to arrive. This time we have chosen to give priority to this unique moment of our lives and that is why we have decided to postpone promotional activities for the next few days. I thank my fans for the love and support they always give me and I'm sure that this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular; I will be following the iHeartRadio concert and everything that happens there very closely. The message was also written in English and was re-twitted by Gerard Piqué; his Twitter account even has a pacifier as profile picture for the happy announcement.
In addition to the great news, just a couple of days ago the NBC Network had informed that Shakira will join "The Voice" as a judge in Christina Aguilera's place for the season to start in the spring of 2013 after deciding that the show would continue through the year and not by seasons, like it had before.
