The Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship is back at San Diego’s Snapdragon Stadium this January, with the second round of the world championship set for January 17.
Local riders Christian Craig from El Cajon and Dilan Schwartz from Alpine will compete on a one-of-a-kind dirt track featuring jumps, turns, and other challenging obstacles.

Craig, a second-generation racer, has been competing in local events since 2013, while Schwartz will make his third appearance at this San Diego race.
FanFest Experience
Before the main race, fans can meet the riders in person and get up close to the bikes during FanFest, which will also feature special activities and experiences for attendees.
Event Schedule
- FanFest: 9:00 a.m.
- Qualifying Races: 9:30 a.m.
- Opening Ceremonies: 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.

The AMA Supercross Championship has a history of over 40 years, originally held at the former Jack Murphy Stadium in Mission Valley, now the site of Snapdragon Stadium.
