MEXICO – December is about to start its third week and it looks like its going to be a cold one with cold front number 21 hitting Mexico starting this Monday.

Mexico’s government has reported that this cold front will probably bring snowfalls, cold weather and strong winds to its northern Mexican states, specifically Sonora and Chihuahua.

Baja California could see some of this cold weather in the mountains, ranging from 23 to 37 degrees in Tijuana, Ensenada, Tecate and Mexicali.

There’s a chance Chihuahua will have temperatures of 16 degrees in the center part of the state, 26.6 to 15.8 degrees in the southeast and west parts of the state as well as the state of Durango with snowfalls. Sonora’s mountains and northeastern part of it will experience temperatures of 26.6 degrees.

Coahuila, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Guanajuato and Querétaro will also be affected by the cold weather but not as much as other states.

The rest of Mexico will have strong rainfalls due to the cold front colliding with a stream of tropical weather coming from the south, which will result in intense rainfall on some of the southern states.
