The San Diego Sockers already clinched the Western Division title but dont expect a soft finish to the regular season.
Not when the Sockers (11-2, PASL-Pro) have an arch rival on the schedule, Revolución Tijuana.
San Diego hosts Tijuana on Saturday at the Del Mar Arena in the first of three remaining home regular season games.
The Sockers have beaten the Revolución (7-7) in all three meeting this season. Tijuana might be looking for some redemption and could be playing for pride.
This season San Diego is unbeaten at home, where they set the franchise attendance record for a single match on Jan. 29 in their 13-6 win against Tijuana.
The Sockers clinched their second-straight division title with back-to-back wins at Tacoma on Feb. 4 and 5.
Saturdays match against Tijuana, a match Feb. 19 against California and a game against Edmonton on Feb. 26 are the remaining regular season matches.
Tijuana is trying to finish in second place in the division behind the Sockers. The Revolución sits in third place behind Tacoma (8-6) with two matches remaining on their schedule.
