Attention, Star Wars fans: we have great news for you! Now through July 27, the Comic-Con Museum in San Diego is hosting Echoes from the Galaxy, a limited-time exhibition and auction featuring original props, rare artifacts, and exclusive memorabilia from the Star Wars universe. Don’t miss this chance to experience the saga like never before.

The best part? No extra ticket required. Echoes from the Galaxy is included with general admission to the Comic-Con Museum, though it is recommended to register if you plan to participate in the auction.

A Journey Through Star Wars’ Galactic History

Organized in collaboration with TCM and Julien’s Auctions, the event will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will feature a selection of items from some of the most prestigious private Star Wars collections.

Some of the standout pieces include:

  • An original Stormtrooper helmet used in the filming of Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977).
  • Lightsabers wielded by Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan Kenobi), Liam Neeson (Qui-Gon Jinn), and Ray Park (Darth Maul) in The Phantom Menace (1999).
  • A lightsaber crafted for Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) in Return of the Jedi (1983).
  • Concept art sketches, toy prototypes, international merchandise, and production crew items.

An Event for a Cause

This celebration of one of cinema’s most iconic franchises also serves a good cause—a portion of the auction proceeds will benefit the Comic-Con Museum’s educational and cultural programs.

While you’re there, take time to explore the museum’s permanent exhibits, which spotlight the worlds of pop culture, film, comics, and graphic art.
