At the event held on April 29 at the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) the Secretary of Economic Development in Tijuana (SEDETI), Xavier Peniche Bustamante, stated that this convention is part of Municipal President Dr. Jorge Astiazarán Orcí's plan to support the citizens' interest in opening small businesses and competing regionally, with a variety of products.
"The businesses' success is the result of the leadership efforts of businesspeople, and units that facilitate opportunities. This is why the "Tijuana Start-up Ecosystem" will be the platform to guide, promote and assist the citizens to accomplish their business goals," the functionary stated.
Peniche Bustamante explained that the agreement consists in linking projects with the city's improved support programs to promote the creation of new businesses from their hatching, to processes that will allow them to grow faster, as well as access to financing, which will allow them to realize their business plans.
