In the Startup weekend on April 5 through the 7th that will be held at the Bit Center in Tijuana, a team of specialists will have only 54 hours to transform an idea into a project.

In the events third edition now, it will once again open its door to innovation, software programmers, graphic designers, marketers, business managers and entrepreneurs.

Participants of the 2nd Edition of the Startup Weekend

At the start of the event, the best ideas are chosen and then teams are formed to work on these projects during the weekend with the help of mentors and facilitators. By the end of Sunday, every team presents their projects as business proposals that are then judged by a jury.

Event organizers indicate that it is not necessary to come already with a specific idea, because the projects will arise during the first day of work.

The "Startup Weekend" concept first emerged in the city of Seattle, and from there more than 780 events have been held worldwide in cities looking to stay ahead in the Technological world, where in this practice organizers hope to encourage young talent.
