TECATE.- As part of Women's Week, the city of Tecate led by Mayor César Moreno González de Castilla, through the City's Institute for Women (IMMUJER) had an event that acknowledged women who have transformed the life of the city.



Hundreds of people attended the event, where 58 women from Tecate were awarded for different actions they have done throughout their lives.

"Thanks to each and everyone of the different women around the worl,d we have achieved equal rights within our society, even though we still have to work hard to reach bigger and better benefits" mentioned director of Tecate's IMMUJER, Cristian Valdez Rodríguez who gave a motive presentation.



On his behalf, Mayor Moreno pointed out that, "women are different from man, on the contrary they have more qualities, they are the ones who help us move forward and push us, I acknowledge the capacity they have to support their family, work and live within a society".



Before the event ended Mayor Moreno made emphasis on how each time more women are participation in different society area, excelling with professionalism, talent and above all intelligence to overcome any challenge.
