TECATE. – During the celebration of the Mexican Army Day, the municipal government of Tecate which is led by mayor César Moreno González de Castilla had a celebratory event through the department of Civic Action.
At 9.00 a.m. sharp, upon the presence of mayor Moreno and his wife, president of Tecate's DIF, Claudia González de Moreno, the event started with the proper honors to the native insignia provided by CETis 25 High School's escort and military band.
Afterwards the mayor gave his official message, acknowledging the Mexican Army for the bravery, courage and dignity as Mexican soldiers, which are an example of service and devotion to the nation, always defending sovereignty.
"The Mexican Army is one of the most respected, admired and loved institutions by our society and today 102 years later with commemorate with pride, the birth of an Institution that throughout its existence has hoisted every flag of legality, liberty and democracy", expressed Tecate's mayor.
As part of the protocol Mayor Moreno alongside other government officials made of guard of honor for those who have given their life for their country.
