Tecate’s DIF Treats Cleft Lip and Palate Cases For Free

TECATE.- Ninenteen people suffering from cleft lip and palate, were treated on Saturday, March 7th by the Connect Met International Foundation at the City's DIF Clinic, which is led by First Lady Claudia González de Moreno.

Starting at 8:00 a.m., attendees received medical services on behalf of surgeons, anesthesiologist and nurses, who analyzed the different cases while at the same time determining which patients were possible candidates to undergo further surgical intervention.

[p]talked to doctors Alicia Singles and Amanda Rosaman, which are specialist in plastic surgery, thanking them for the support they have brought to Tecate's society. She also invited the community to be aware of the services that at are still being offered for free.

Moles, hemangiomas, vascular, face and hand malformations, face and hand trauma, burn scars, lipomas (benign tumors), face and hand fractures, hypertrophic and keloid scars and reconstructive surgery for eyelids, nose and eyes, were some of the cases that were treated.
