The raffle process has begun for the "bleachers" or "fan zone" for the 85th Oscar awards, that will held on February 24th at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California.
The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has the biggest league in the world of stars, which will overload their applications for the upcoming raffle, that any movie and big picture show lover will be very lucky to be selected for.
November 16th on their official website is the last day to be able to fill out a form with personal information, and wait for an answer.
AMPAS will hand out one ticket per person; multiple entries will not be accepted and will be discarded completely if sent.
Entries must be sent by 5p.m. (Los Angeles local time) on the last day of raffle date.
All participants entering the raffle contest must be 18 years or older and young people between the ages of 8 to 17 years old can assist as a guest, only if the person who is accepted by raffle is the legal guardian.
Everyone that is selected will be notified by email of the drawing around November 20th, in which everyone must make sure they are using a good email address.
Everyone that is selected through the raffle process must provide a valid Social Security Number, or a valid form of international ID, for the purpose of a back ground check for security purposes, and must sign a waiver releasing the event organizers and their affiliates of any responsibility.
The invitations handed out to sit on the bleachers or be part of the "fan zone" do not have any monetary value, and are not transferrable nor can be sold.
Food and transportation costs are that of the participant's responsibility.
400 seats total will be raffled, and submitting the entry form does not mean you are entitled to one.
You will have to wait for confirmation by email if you have been selected.
Being selected in the raffle does not include entry to the theatres for the awards, or any of the events that pertains to the awards, because access to all of these places will be restricted and is by invitation only.
