The iconic Rose Parade returns on January 1, 2026, transforming the streets of Pasadena, California, into a vibrant, flower-covered celebration to welcome the New Year. Presented by Honda, the 137th edition of this beloved tradition will once again draw thousands of spectators from around the globe.
What began as a modest procession with carriages decorated in orange blossoms has since grown into a world-class event. Today, elaborate floats entirely covered in fresh flowers parade down Colorado Boulevard in a dazzling display of artistry and engineering.
This year’s parade is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. along a 5.5-mile route through the heart of Pasadena. As always, it promises to kick off the new year with a burst of color, live music, and timeless tradition.
Location & Route
The procession begins at the intersection of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard. Floats travel north on Orange Grove, then turn east onto Colorado Boulevard, the prime viewing corridor where crowds gather most densely. The parade concludes by heading north on Sierra Madre Boulevard, ending at Villa Street.
