Baja California reported as of Tuesday morning, 825 COVID-19 active cases , of which 175 are located in Tijuana, a city in which there are nine neighborhoods where the population and its inhabitants must take even more care of themselves.
And although in comparison with Mexicali, the active cases are less in Tijuana, since the capital registers 431 of the total; Health Secretary Alonso Pérez Rico, asked not to lower the guard since of these nine neighborhoods, one is the "most infected in Tijuana".
This neighborhood is Camino Verde/Grupo Mexico, which reports ten active cases. The rest of the neighborhoods are the following:
- Los Altos (4 cases)
- Francisco Villa (6 cases)
- Sánchez Taboada (6 cases)
- Florido 2nd section (5 cases)
- Villa del Real (5 cases)
- Real de San Francisco (4 cases)
- Altiplano (4 cases)
In Mexicali, the neighborhood with the largest number of active cases is Colonia Independencia, where 12 cases were registered.
So far, Baja California has 27 thousand 318 accumulated positive cases, 4 thousand 457 deaths and at least 21 thousand 880 recovered patients.
