This is how we came to this point, the new Qore starting point with a completely new redesign, mentality and goals. The original essence is still there, rooted in the wonders of technology, but its roots take different directions, to bring you the Internet's best, what's trending in the geek world, the most interesting stuff in science, what's fascinating about web culture and above all, the thing that awakens your curiosity regardless of where you are.
What's new, trending and the best
After building the foundations of this new era, we look for a way to separate the "this just happened" on the Internet, what's trending and what's needs more exposure. Still, all of our content strives to be relevant, when an idea doesn't work, we put it aside, there's stuff that gets more views than others, like an eclipse that travels through time, the Star Wars fan-made short film worthy of an Oscar or the rip off of a hard drive that was actually the size of an SD card.

Which is why we have three columns. While others sites have a reverse chronological order, they end up not telling you what's important, here at Qore, Trending will tell you what's trending online, showing you stories that are gaining track online. With Nuevo you'll be up to date with the most recent news and Lo mejor will have the best of the best, it'll be there once everyone is talking about it and sharing it online.
Our algorithm is design to push stories from one column to another, according to how popular it is, this way you'll know it wasn't a decision from the editor to put it there, but the community's. Also, we finally gave a huge step towards having a mobile-friendly version, we admit it, we took a while but it was worth it, which is why Qore will look incredible on any device. Ok, almost every device, we don't focus on obsolete devices that nobody uses. Oh and if you don't like registering in order to comment or you're just lazy, we have the Facebook login option now.
But wait, that's not all, we are starting to make other changes as well. We will continue redefining the new Qore, we'll debug it, add new features and what's more important: we will keep improving to bring you the best, most relevant news. All of this is for you, you're the main piece of our vision, so we'll love to hear from you.
