The Tijuana Historical Archive presented a series of photographs of how the Tijuana-San Diego border used to look between 1915 and 1925. In the photograph below we find a single line to cross into the city.

There is no doubt that this is a huge contrast to what we Tijuana residents are used to seeing. Also, you can see a small booth where there is now even a double surveillance system.

This photograph and the others are part of the "Pablo Torrealba" digital archive of the Tijuana Historical Archive/Museum Project of the Tijuana History Museum, and is an original collection by Andre Williams.
