TIJUANA –This past Monday morning, a fire broke out at a Sherwin–Williams plant located at the Las Misiones Industrial Park in Tijuana. The company has given a statement regarding the incident.

The company, which has been operating there since 1999, has stated that they are continuing their cleaning efforts as well as an investigation to find out the cause of the fire.

Furthermore, they clarified that when the fire broke out there where 17 employees working at the plant instead of 20 that were previously reported by some authorities.

No fatality was registered, only three firefighters who sustained minor burns. They where taken to a hospital to receive treatment. They are currently stable. The only damage resulting from the incident was material.
