Tijuana City Government announces an alternate route from garita el chaparral to Rosarito

Tijuana Baja California, March 31, 2023.- The Tijuana City Government, chaired by Mayor Montserrat Caballero Ramírez, through the Secretary for Sustainable Urban Mobility (SEMOV), informs the public about the alternative route for those who need to travel to Playas de Rosarito, before the closure of South Cuauhtémoc boulevard.

Municipal authorities recommend to take Avenida Internacional until they reach the road distributor that connects with Playas de TIjuana, and then turn off towards Libramiento Rosas Magallón. Subsequently, they must continue straight along the Libramiento until they reach the Morelos Node area, and go to the exit towards Playas de Rosarito.

In the same way, to return from Playas de Rosarito to Tijuana, they must go along Benito Juárez boulevard, which connects with the highway to Tijuana and ends at the Morelos distributor, where they must take the incorporation loop to the Rosas Magallón bypass and drive to the junction with Avenida Internacional.

The Tijuana Government announces to take appropriate precautions and invites the visitors to enjoy responsibly this holiday season in Baja.
