Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana benefited over 3,500 people through the “Tijuana: Clean City” program, which included rehabilitation efforts in the Valle Vista Primera Sección neighborhood.
The mayor arrived at Valle Alto Street in Valle Vista Primera Sección, where public trash removal and grading work were carried out across 1,084 square meters, overseen by the Secretariat of Urban, Territorial, and Environmental Development (SDTUA).

“We are announcing these ongoing efforts to strengthen neighborhood infrastructure. I am also listening to residents, addressing their concerns, and visiting their communities as there are many requests to attend to,” the mayor said.
Community leader Carmen Vargas commented: “It’s good that all officials get their shoes dirty—no matter who they are—because they have an obligation to come and see our needs.”

The Municipal Government provided the delegation with infrastructure, equipment, and several pieces of machinery, including a backhoe, dump trucks, a water tanker, and a motor grader to carry out these tasks.
The Tijuana City Hall reiterated its commitment to working hand-in-hand with citizens and called on the public to contribute through actions that help keep the city clean and orderly.

Accompanying the mayor were Claudia Casas Valdés, delegate of Otay Centenario, and Adriana Guadalupe Barrera Hernández, acting head of the Delegation Coordination Office, along with residents of Valle Vista Primera Sección.
