The Tijuana: Clean City program has finally reached the Guaycura, Tomás Aquino, and México Lindo neighborhoods, where urban improvement efforts have benefited more than 8,100 residents, as instructed by Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz of Tijuana.
On Friday, work crews arrived at San José de Cabo Street in Guaycura, performing cleaning and pruning along 115 linear meters of the median strip to improve pedestrian access and enhance the area.

These actions were witnessed by local deputy Gloria Miramontes, from the Cerro Colorado delegation, who applauded the initiative and results of the Tijuana: Clean City program, highlighting the efforts made for the well-being of all residents.
In addition, local deputy Eligio Valencia oversaw the grading of over 5,000 square meters of the Cuauhtémotzin road, maintenance of public lighting, and the collection of more than 15 tons of trash in the Tomás Aquino neighborhood.

During the inspection, deputy Eligio Valencia acknowledged Mayor Ismael Burgueño of Tijuana’s efforts to consolidate actions that improve roads and promote the efficient development of Tijuana’s urban infrastructure.
The Tijuana: Clean City program also reached México Lindo Avenue in the México Lindo neighborhood, where cleaning and desilting work was carried out on 2,000 cubic meters of desander tank I, benefiting over 1,500 residents—a crucial step to prevent sediment buildup and future flooding.

These inspections were attended by councilors Ranier Falcón and Heriberto Lemuel Ramírez, as well as the acting head of the Delegation Coordination Office, Adriana Barrera, along with Cerro Colorado delegate Rosa Zamarripa, Otay Centenario delegate Claudia Casas, and La Mesa delegate Bianka Majar.
The 25th City Hall of Tijuana encourages citizens to approach their local delegations to submit requests and concerns for prompt attention or to call the 072 hotline for assistance.
