Over 3,500 residents of the El Manantial neighborhood will benefit from urban improvement efforts led by Tijuana City Hall through the “Tijuana: Clean City” program, launched under Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz.

Mayor Burgueño Ruiz toured the neighborhood, located in the La Presa Abelardo L. Rodríguez delegation, to assess infrastructure upgrades on Victoriano Huerta Street designed to boost local living conditions.

“We’re benefiting 3,500 residents of El Manantial. We’re everywhere with good news, working on community infrastructure. Today, we’re on Victoriano Huerta Street with nonstop machinery,” the mayor said.

He also explained that specialized equipment—including motor graders, backhoes, and dump trucks—is being used to upgrade unpaved roads.

Benjamin Morfín, a community leader in El Manantial, expressed gratitude for the swift response to their long-standing request for road repairs, which had gone unaddressed by previous local administrations.

“Last week, we asked the Delegation for help grading some streets, and today the machinery is already at work. Five dirt roads will be rehabilitated. We thank Mayor Ismael Burgueño of Tijuana because we’ve witnessed his government’s commitment to our community,” Morfín stated.
