Tijuana police officers detained three men when they were surprised doing cuts to the metallic mesh of the "Wall" that divides the border between Mexico and the United States in the Tijuana and San Diego region.
The police approached the area located on the Internacional Avenue in the Aeropuerto neighborhood.
Two of the three subjects escaped by jumping the metal fence, so that only one of the suspects who claimed to be a native of Guanajuato could be captured, which was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.
People who perform this type of perforations to the metal mesh of the wall have usually the intention of crossing drugs or people.
