Tijuana residents should be more careful of the coronavirus in these neighborhoods

The Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, announced that every Tuesday the areas of Tijuana where COVID-19 active cases are located, and where both residents and visitors must take greater precautions and follow prevention measures such as the use of face masks, antibacterial gel and social distancing.

These Tijuana neighborhoods are the following:

  • Villas del prado 2da Sección

    • Lomas Verdes

      • Camino Verde/Grupo México

        • 20 de noviembre

          • Zona Río

            • Tomas Aquino

              • Lomas Taurinas

                • Villa Fontana

                  • Villa del Sol

                      "Main emphasis on Lomas Verdes, Camino Verde/Grupo México, November 20th, Villa Fontana and Villa del Sol," said Pérez Rico.
                      According to the Secretary's presentation, Villa Fontana is the area with most active cases in Tijuana, registering seven, while the rest have between four and six active cases.

                      Pérez Rico also indicated that the neighborhood that is "most infected in Baja California today" by active cases, is the neighborhood of Valle de Puebla, which has seven active cases, and is located in Mexicali.
