Occupying one of the Caliente Racetrack's parking lots, a light drizzle was just a minor inconvenience for the public; learning from their mistakes of 2015, when too many people met with too little space and variety, this year saw better accommodations for the attendees, who enjoyed an extensive menu of appetizers, main courses and even dessert, while four local bands offered live music: Efecto Iguana, Sextone, Mediodía and Tía Juana Rock.

Despite the gloomy looking sky above the place, 6,000 people were expected to attend, well over last year's numbers. About the purpose of coming back with this event, the organizers stated their intention of turning it into a "new tradition" for Tijuana, while also creating an alternate space for the city's rich culinary and gastronomic culture that exists beyond traditional restaurants.
