Health
Ricardo Gonzalez spoke about this topic and gave obesity as an example of a health issue, which he presented two solutions to fight against this problem: sports and nutritious school breakfasts.
Alejandro Monraz focused his proposal to create a health commission to work towards reducing the risk of serious diseases. He spoke of an alliance with the educational system to implement and support nutritious breakfasts and sports.
Jorge Astiazaran noted that 41% of the residents of Tijuana do not have access to medical services, and that tuberculosis and obesity were some of the major health problems in the region. He proposed to coordinate all medical institutions to attend to any emergency at the nearest hospital regardless of whether the patient was entitled to it or not. The candidate also spoke of the creation of mobile brigades to serve older adults and a single electronic record for easy access by physicians regardless of the institution.

Public Safety and Education
Alejandro Monraz said that crimes committed within the family had increased in the current administration. Monraz stressed that insecurity had taken hold on the outskirts of the city and therefore proposed to work on the issue of prevention as well as restructuring the police units to meet the needs of the population, which will improve police performance and help migrants in the region.
Jorge Astiazaran agreed with Monraz in the sense that a prevention program for addictions was imperative. He also added to Monraz's proposal on rescuing public spaces and supporting police. The candidate was the first to mention the urgency of improving conditions for the fire department, hire more personnel, standardize wages and have better resources, and the building of new fire stations.
Ricardo Gonzalez was in favor of the business owners in the region, and in favor of society in intervening in the election of a new municipal public security secretary. He also spoke of support for families of fallen police officers, and committed to providing security for these families so that police succumb to corruption.

In the perception of some viewers, this debate needed a little more time. But unlike the debates of the candidates for governor, there were fewer attacks and more proposals in this Mayoral debate.
To decide on a winner, consider the point of view of each voter. At first glance, Alejandro Monraz was the one who explained on a larger scale the process to execute his proposals. What is your opinion?
