The Tijuana city government has partnered with Ray Wilson Family Fitness in a new initiative aimed at encouraging healthy habits and improving the well-being of young people across the city.
The effort is being led by the Municipal Institute for Youth (IMJUV) under Mayor Ismael Burgueño, with a focus on offering practical resources and programs for local youth.
IMJUV Director Christian Sebastián Ponce said the agreement gives young residents real tools to support both their physical and mental health. Through the partnership, eligible participants will have access to special promotions, gym services, and organized activities designed to promote a healthier lifestyle.

City officials described the collaboration as a joint effort between the public and private sectors to create supportive spaces where young people can thrive.
Jesús Gabriela Zazueta, operations manager at Ray Wilson Family Fitness, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving quality of life in the community.
“Healthy youth are the foundation of a stronger community with more opportunities,” Zazueta said. “This agreement helps young people access spaces and programs that encourage physical activity, self-care, and discipline.”

The city said it will continue pursuing partnerships that expand opportunities and support the health and development of Tijuana’s younger generations.
