However, although Mexicali remained in the number one position with more of these cases, Tijuana reported an increase, already surpassing the state capital by having 225 active cases of the total in the region.
Meanwhile, the positive cases registered in Baja California are 15 thousand 285, most of these from Mexicali which has 7 thousand 612 confirmed cases, but Tijuana reported the highest number of new cases (83), compared to the rest of the counties.
On the other hand, deaths continue in the state, where 2 thousand 896 were reported, of which only one thousand 346 were located in Mexicali.
So far, there are more people recovered than deceased from coronavirus in the state, 8 thousand 636 Baja California natives have managed to win the battle, most of them residents of Mexicali.
