Tijuana’s Elevated Roadway Reaches 96% Completion

The construction of Tijuana’s Elevated Viaduct is nearing its final stages, with Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda announcing the project has reached 96% completion.

The governor shared the update on social media, posting a series of photos that showcased the significant progress on the long-awaited infrastructure development.

“We are getting closer and closer to finishing this strategic infrastructure project from President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo,” she said.

According to authorities, the new viaduct is expected to significantly improve daily life by slashing commute times, boosting the flow of commercial traffic, and providing numerous other benefits for Baja Californian families.

Governor Marina del Pilar also extended her gratitude to the engineers from the Ministry of National Defense (SEDENA), crediting their daily dedication and work for making this transformative project a reality.
