As autumn arrives with its signature golden-hues, the much-anticipated Tijuana Pumpkin Festival opens its gates for its fifth edition, offering visitors the perfect blend of seasonal charm and Halloween excitement throughout October 2025.
Tijuana’s Pumpkin Festival: Everything You Need to Know to Enjoy Autumn
The festival transforms a single location into an autumn wonderland, complete with pumpkin carving stations, a dual-day-and-night maze, farm animal encounters, and expanded play areas designed to delight visitors of all ages.
Among this year’s new experiences is a pumpkin carving station where visitors can purchase pumpkins and carve them into everything from classic Jack O’Lanterns to their favorite characters.

The festival’s maze offers two distinct experiences. By day, it’s a family-friendly challenge suitable for even the youngest visitors. At sunset, it transforms into a “Haunted Trail,” featuring eerie neon lights and creepy clowns that stalk visitors through the confusing pathways.
For younger children, the festival offers pony rides, live shows featuring beloved Disney and “The Nightmare Before Christmas” characters (such as Jack Skellington!) and an interactive farm with calves, goats, ducks, rabbits, and pigs. The bounce house area has been significantly expanded this year, providing more space for children to play.
