If you woke up in a bad mood, are holding a grudge against someone or you just don't feel like being around anyone, we invite you to change that attitude (even if its just for today), given that today we celebrate International Peace Day.
In 1981, the United Nations declared September 21st as "International Peace Day", being celebrated for the first time in 1982. In 2001, the General Assembly unanimously approved this resolution 55/282, establishing September 21st as a day for fire cessation and non violence world wide.
The UN invites all nations to comply to this hostility cessation throughout the entire day as well as to celebrate it through education and making the public aware in regards to all subjects related with peace.
That being said, let's spend the day trying not to get upset and doing good to others. Ideally, we should try and do this everyday, so let this effort start today.
