Explore Mexico State by State at Tianguis Turístico 2025
Walking through the halls of the Baja California Center in Playas de Rosarito is like embarking on a journey across the entire country. Each pavilion showcases the cultural richness and tourism diversity that define Mexico.

From Baja California’s incredible stand, through Sonora, Chihuahua, and Nuevo León, to the iconic callejoneadas of Guanajuato and Jalisco’s mariachi and tequila traditions, the Tianguis Turístico offers a captivating journey through Mexico’s cultural, historical, and natural heritage.
The tourism offerings from each state have captured the attention of both national and international buyers, sparking new opportunities and strategic partnerships.

A Culinary Journey Across Mexico
The Tianguis Turístico isn’t just a trade event, it’s also a sensory journey. From the moment you enter, the aromas and flavors of Mexico take over. Each state brings its culinary best, offering a feast that delights and surprises at every turn.

Baja California and Volaris Take Off
In a meeting between Governor Marina del Pilar and Volaris CEO Enrique Beltranena, both parties stressed the importance of strengthening Baja California’s connectivity to boost tourism and economic growth.
As part of this effort, Volaris announced a new route between Mexicali and Morelia route set to begin operations on July 5, complementing recent additions from Mexicali to Culiacán and Monterrey.
Beltranena highlighted that Volaris currently operates 35 routes connecting Tijuana and Mexicali, solidifying its position as Mexico’s largest airline. A partnership agreement between Volaris and the Baja California state government was also signed.
Celebrating Baja California’s Wine Industry
Wine also took the spotlight on day two. Baja California, responsible for 70% of Mexico’s wine production, officially presented the 35th Fiestas de la Vendimia.

This grape harvest festival will run from July 30 to August 24 in Ensenada, with the wine showcase set for August 1 at the Riviera Cultural Center. Around 80 wineries will present 160 wine labels. The program also includes food and wine pairing events, grape-stomping experiences, and the 25th “Dr. Ramón García Ocejo” Paella Contest.
