Due to the continued movement of Hurricane Pamela, this Tuesday, October 12, some ports located in the Pacific have had to close, this was communicated by Civil Protection of Mexico through their social media, where they informed that two ports in Baja California will be affected.

These ports are located in Playas de Rosarito and San Felipe, which will remain closed for small vessels and in the case of Rosarito this will also apply for large vessels.

It should be noted that at the moment the danger is low, however, it has been recommended that areas in the path of the hurricane take precautions such as protecting windows with adhesive tape and to avoid littering.

This recommendation is not for Baja California and its municipalities, since this state is not in the path of the hurricane, the only effects derived from this natural phenomenon are the strong gusts of winds and the closures of the ports previously mentioned.
