President Donald Trump on Thursday praised what he called record-breaking economic performance and unprecedented border security, while launching a fresh attack on news organizations and pollsters he accused of promoting fake results.

Posting on his Truth Social platform, Trump dismissed recent surveys showing lower approval ratings, insisting they misrepresent public sentiment. He described the United States as having “the best economy ever” and “the strongest border ever,” arguing that polling data is being used to shape public perception rather than reflect reality.

Trump accused media outlets and polling firms of intentionally publishing misleading information, framing the practice as politically motivated and harmful. He claimed that more favorable surveys exist but are being ignored by major news organizations.

The president singled out The New York Times and other outlets, accusing them of knowingly spreading false data as part of what he characterized as a coordinated effort against him, again invoking the phrase “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

Trump also pointed to a legal challenge tied to what he called fraudulent media coverage and polling, saying the case is moving forward in the courts. He warned that those responsible would “pay a price” for what he described as false and deceptive reporting.
