Two women arrested for carrying $24k inside their vagina

Two women, one from Columbia, 37, and the other one from Mexico, 22, were arrested at the airport in Bogota, Colombia, after authorities discovered them trying to smuggle $ 24,000 into the country inside their vagina, each carrying $12,000.

The money was wrapped in condoms and was placed inside the women’s private parts. Also found in their luggage was almost $20,000 extra (between the two), which is an amount that is allowed to be brought into the country without having to declare it to authorities.



Authorities believe that this money is linked to drug trafficking, as a form of payment to Colombian drug cartels for drugs that were purchase by Mexican drug dealers.



So far this year, 13 people have been arrested, including these two women, at the airport for trying to smuggle money illegally into Colombia. A total of seven Mexican citizens are among all of those who have been arrested.
