Likewise, Tijuana has the highest percentage in the occupancy rate, having registered 98 percent. According to the Secretary of Economic Development, Gabriel Camarena Salinas, specified that there is an investment of 786.83 million dollars in the city.
Of this investment, 64.48% is national, while 35.51% is foreign. These numbers exceed those of last year and represent a 37.7% increase in investment.

This increase reflects a clear recovery that, according to Camarena, shows the programs and services promoted by the XXIII City Hall of Tijuana, headed by Mayor Karla Patricia Ruiz Macfarland, who, by the way, was positioned as the fifth best mayor nationwide, according to the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit (SHCP).
On the other hand, Tijuana was recognized for having the highest percentage in the employment occupation rate, having registered 98 percent, figures that reflect an important recovery in the city's economic growth and the creation of jobs in the city.
This record was released by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI), which stated that Tijuana registers the best unemployment rate at 2 percent nationwide.
